The tiger is the largest wild cat in the world. It weighs up to 363 kilograms and is two meters long ,it has a one meter long tail. It can also bring down its prey such as a deer or antelope and only hunts at night. Once its spotted it sneaks up and ponces and pulls it of its feet with the tigers teeth and claws. The has been known to eat up to 27 kilograms of meat a every day also once the cat is full and hasn't finished its prey it will cover it in dirt and leaves and can come back once its hungry again. Unlike most cats the tiger likes water,it can also swim well. Tigers that live in the cold northern ares are usually bigger and heaver then the ones that live in tropical ares also no two tigers have the same pattern of stripes. Tigers can see well in the dark and a tigers roar can be herd up to three kilometers away. Tigers live alone except for mothers and cubs and a female tiger can have up to six cubs a litter, the average is two or three.
