Observation
My fish

My fish look really colorful and pretty.
They are lots of different colours like yellow, orange, pink, grey, and blue.

My fish don't make much sound except the splash of the filter and that sounds like running water.

My fish don't really smell but there fish flakes stink.

I don't want to taste my fish so i don't know what they taste like.

I love my fish because they are so interesting and fun to watch.

Fish are a little bit hard to look after because they need the right water and it has to be kept clean, they need enough food, they need a filter to give them enough oxygen, and there tank cant be full of stuff. If something is wrong they will all die.

Gracelyn is tall,thin has short brown hair and blue eyes.Her favorite color is teal,she has knee high pants and normally a short sleeve shirt. Her skin color is olive.

She is good at drawing,riding the ripstick and climbing trees. She is very nice,friendly and usually helps me with my school work. I love her very much but she sometimes talks too much.

Gracelyn,Anna,Mikaela and I were walking down to the chimney in our backyard. As we were walking beneath the trees shadow a Cooloo jumped out at us Gracelyn screamed "Arrgh" and we all jumped. My heart pounded. My eyes winded. My mouth went dry. We all ran in terror.

Observation

My Fish
My fish are colorful.Their colors are red,blue,yellow,pink,white and black.

They don't make very much noise but sometimes you can here them splash and also we have a filter which sounds like running water.

They are a bit smelly but not really.

They feel slimy and scaly.

I think my fish are cool. Also guppies don't lay eggs their called live breeder's. You have to separate the babies from their parents or they will be eaten. Theirs a small tank that fits inside the big tank that's called a breading net.

Courage

A definition of courage found on the internet is: “The ability to face danger or difficulty or pain even if you are afraid.” I think this is true because choosing to be courageous is the right thing to do even when you are afraid.

Martin Luther King Jr. once said “We must build dikes of courage to hold back the flood of fear.”

We all have fear but we have to decide to face it or not.

An example of courage is Eric Liddel when he risked his life to get coal for the hospital to save the lives of the people there during World War 1.

      This poem makes me think of Bravery, daring, guts, grits, determination, fearless, nerve, pluck, prowess, spirit. 

My favourite line in the poem is “Courage is what make us” The other day I was looking for some pegs when a snake jumped out of the grass I yelled at my little sisters to get inside. I wanted to protect them because I knew it was dangerous, it happened so quickly that I didn’t even think of being scared. I could’ve freaked out but I didn’t. My parents were so proud of me for being so courageous

When we heard of it, our hearts melted in fear and everyone’s courage failed of you, for the Lord your God is God in heaven and on earth below.

Because they trusted in God, God helped them even though they were scared.

Definition Essay

Courage

A definition of courage is:"The ability to face danger or difficulty or pain, even when you are afraid."

 Mark Twain said "Courage is resistant to fear, mastery of fear, not absence of fear. " I think this is true because you can still do brave things even though you feel afraid.

A poem I found on the internet that I liked was:

This poem makes me think of all the things that courage means; bravery,daring,heroism,nobility,bravado,heroics,gallantry,nerve and pluck.

Joshua 1:6 says " Be strong and courageous, because you will lead these people to inherit the land I swore to their ancestors to give them". Joshua was scared but he had to trust God to help him to do the courageous thing. The most courageous person I read about was Mary Slessor when she braved sickness, danger and death in a country far away from her own by herself during the 1800's.
